DIY: build a nourishing herbal bath

DIY: build a nourishing herbal bath

One of my favorite ways to use herbs to support my skin, fascia, lymph, and muscles is by blending a few herbs. It's a bath-time game changer and will add a layer of elegance and nourishment that I don't think can be found in your typical epsom salt and essential oil bath blends.

Nourishing Herbal Bath:

1/2 cup organic oatmeal

1/4 cup chamomile

1/4 cup rose petals

1/4 cup lavender

2 tbsp powdered milk (optional)

If you're looking for a place to buy herbs, I always recommend shopping locally when and where possible. Otherwise, Starwest Botanicals is a great place to buy your herbs in bulk. You can shop their herbs here. (This is an affiliate link which means I earn a very small commission when you purchase through this link. I appreciate when you do this! It helps me be able to continue to provide accessible content for you.)

Add these ingredients to a cotton or linen bag and allow it to steep in boiling water for 10 minutes for the best experience. Then add to your bath and enjoy. If you're on a time crunch, simply place the bag into your bath--make sure to squeeze your bag several times. I love making this as a quick gift--adding the herbs to a jar and placing a cotton bag on top of the herbs before closing the lid.

Let me know if you make this!
